Our goal at the Institute for American Policy and Standards Innovation is to mitigate knowledge and training gaps to enhance decisionmaker agility to pivot against emerging threats affecting domestic and transnational policy and revolutions in military affairs (RMAs) through research, training, and media output.

Mission, Vision, and CEO's Guidance

Mission. To mitigate government knowledge and training gaps to enhance and enable decisionmaker agility in pivoting to counter emerging threats affecting domestic and transnational policy and revolutions in military affairs (RMAs) through research, training, and media output. We will enable unique elements of the JIIM and SLTT enterprises to include the ability to leverage unique capabilities, contribute as integrated adaptive force packages, and to increase dominant output, maneuver, and support in complex maritime, air, land, space, cyber, informational, and cognitive domains and environments.

Vision: Drive urgency and pace of concept for doctrine and tactics development into advanced training to provide the world’s premier defense and security forces the capabilities needed to outthink and outfight any threat or adversary, foreign or domestic, throughout the spectrum of conflict ranging from competition below the threshold of armed conflict up to major combat operations.

Guidance: Empower decision makers at leaders at all levels of government and within the Institute to operate at their maximum potential. We must help each client adapt their processes and ensure their tactics, tools, policies, and procedures prepare their forces for the full range of strategic competition through all elements and lenses of DIMEFIL from competition below the threshold to the potentiality of violent conflict.

IAPSI's Four Guiding Principles

THEME ENABLE AGILITY and ADAPTABILITY

GUIDING PRINCIPLE 1: Improve the government’s agility and adaptability to grow, support, enable, and sustain operational effectiveness and defensive power to assist policymakers across the defense and homeland security enterprises in outthinking and outmaneuvering rapidly evolving, emerging threats throughout the spectrum of conflict.

Objective: Effective Change Management - develop processual agility to counter emerging threats at the speed of relevancy.

   

THEME ENHANCE SYNERGY and ALIGNMENT, UP-AND-OUT and DOWN-AND IN

GUIDING PRINCIPLE 2: Supplement defense, security, public safety, and faculty development training continuums, and help those clients develop and transform into comprehensive streamlined training pipelines that more effectively integrate relevant communities to support relevant mission sets that better enable integrated solutions at tactical, operational, and strategic levels of each enterprise. ·      
Objective: Increase value proposition for defense, security, and public safety by optimizing organizational and course structure to enable clear current and shifting potential lines of effort.  

THEME PROFESSIONALIZE PRACTITIONERS and POLICYMAKERS at ALL LEVELS to CULTIVATE GROWTH and INNOVATION

GUIDING PRINCIPLE 3: Enhance defense, security, and public safety capabilities to enable higher performing teams through battle rhythm events, ranging from regularly scheduled workshops to conferences and other training events. We enable client agility to innovate and adapt to the changing needs of their respective ecosystems.
Objective: Build and sustain expertise needed to enable agility in training and partnership building to enable various client mission sets while helping them to meet command priorities using principles of mission command (decentralized mission executive based on a clear understanding of leadership) to enable organizational excellence.  

THEME – ENABLE CLIENTS to CONTINUE MEETING MISSION REQUIREMENTS DURING TIMES of RAPID CHANGE

GUIDING PRINCIPLE 4: Help our clients continue to meet mission requirements while helping them improve processes and efficiencies to enhance output. We will help clients maintain operational success at the speed of relevancy during a time of ever-increasing frequent emergent threats and revolutions in military affairs to enhance initiatives in force development.
